Plastic grates and walkways on the railway
A safe and ergonomically sound exit facility has been developed for train drivers on the Dutch railways. The existing situation no longer met current requirements. By opting for a flexible and sustainable solution, comfort for staff has been significantly improved.

Universally applicable FRP platform
1. The question
The train drivers asked whether an exit facility could be installed. The existing exit was very high, which made it ergonomically unsound and uncomfortable to use.
2. Our approach
Based on the client’s wishes and requirements, a design was created for the entry and exit facilities. This took into account both the requirements of the staff and the practical possibilities within the railway area where the platforms are used.
3. The solution
A universally applicable platform was chosen, which has now been realised in various designs and sizes along the railway. Thanks to the variable heights, the platform can be tailored to each location, allowing the design to fit seamlessly into the specific situation on site.
