Infrastructure & Rail

In infrastructure and rail projects, GRP gratings and GRP structures are used in locations where safety, flexibility and often minimal intervention in the subsoil are essential. An important area of application within this sector is the construction of exit facilities and (temporary) platforms.

We supply GRP exit facilities, also known as flexible platforms, and GRP floor panels for temporary platforms. These solutions are widely used for maintenance work, diversions and temporary situations on and around the railway.

A major advantage of GRP in infrastructure and rail is that these facilities can often be installed without anchoring them to the ground. This is particularly important in locations where there are many cables and pipes. Avoiding anchoring:

  • limits risks during implementation,
  • simplifies the permit process,
  • and enables rapid installation and removal.

In addition to supplying individual components, we also work with contractors to realise complete temporary platforms. We not only supply the GRP gratings or floor panels, but also contribute ideas about the structural design, detailing and practical feasibility.

In collaboration with contractors and clients, we contribute ideas for temporary and (semi-)permanent solutions that fit within the technical, operational and permit-related frameworks of the project.
