Mobile platform
For a German customer in the chemical industry, we created a safe, mobile solution for occasional work at height. The focus was on chemical resistance, safety and practical usability.

GRP walkways in the chemical industry
1. The question
The customer was looking for a safe way to carry out occasional work at various locations within the factory. Permanent structures were not desirable due to limited use and space constraints. In addition, the chemical environment placed high demands on material selection and resistance. The solution had to be mobile, easy to handle and relatively small.
2. Our approach
After assessing the working environment and the intended use, we identified the preconditions. We looked at the space and working heights at each desired location within the factory. Based on this, we designed a compact, mobile access unit that is safe and easy to use.
3. The solution
The maintenance platforms we created are mobile and equipped with handrails and non-slip steps. They provide stable and safe access for occasional work, while taking up little space when not in use. The GRP materials are chemically resistant and low-maintenance, making them suitable for long-term industrial use.
