Boat launch ramp for Rijkswaterstaat
We have constructed a boat ramp for Rijkswaterstaat that makes it easy to launch boats. The ramp is suitable for traffic loads and intensive use. The design and construction are based on a supplied drawing, with particular attention to sustainability, safety and optimal accessibility under various conditions.

Trailer ramp with GRP high load capacity grates
1. The request
The client, Rijkswaterstaat, required a boat ramp suitable for wheel loads. The ramp had to be accessible from both land and water and comply with the design drawing provided. Sustainability, reliability and feasibility within the set parameters were important starting points.
2. Our approach
Based on the client’s drawing, the design was further developed, with attention to loads, dimensions and environmental factors. Material choices and implementation methods were determined in close consultation with Rijkswaterstaat.
3. The solution
The solution was a durable and strong boat ramp that meets the functional and technical requirements of Rijkswaterstaat. High Load Capacity gratings were chosen because of their suitability for long-term and intensive use for heavy loads. The gratings have a unique colour, namely traffic black (RAL9017), and were custom-made for this project.
