Our approach to supplying GRP plastic gratings
When supplying GRP gratings, we offer three different delivery methods, depending on your requirements and the intended application. Below you can read how this process works.
1. GRP gratings in standard sizes
We stock GRP gratings in many different standard sizes. These can be delivered directly for use, or if you prefer to carry out the processing yourself.
2. GRP gratings cut to size (CTS)
Do you have a custom project where you prefer the GRP gratings to be cut to size during production? That is possible. We have our own production facility where gratings are accurately cut to size according to your specifications.
3. Project-based production of GRP gratings (CUST)
Is lead time not an issue for you? In that case, we can produce the GRP gratings directly to size in the mould. This is the most cost-efficient solution.
GRP grating
GRP grating (glass-reinforced plastic) is ideally suited for use in industrial environments, civil engineering, water management and the chemical industry. FlexxCon’s GRP gratings combine high strength with a long service life, excellent chemical resistance and wide applicability. Thanks to these properties, our fiberglass gratings are widely used in corrosive environments such as petrochemical plants, offshore installations, water treatment facilities, loading and transshipment areas, ports and maritime applications.
GRP plastic gratings are available in various colours. As standard, we supply yellow, green, blue and grey plastic gratings from stock.
Application of GRP Gratings
GRP gratings are widely used in landings, industrial floors, staircases, walkways, and platforms. The use of glass fibre reinforced plastic gratings offers major advantages: they are strong, weather- and corrosion-resistant, low-maintenance, have a long service life, and provide excellent anti-slip properties. In addition, GRP gratings are easy, fast, and flexible to process and install.
Applications of GRP grating
FlexxCon specialises in custom-made GRP gratings, also known as plastic gratings. GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) gratings combine high load-bearing capacity with corrosion resistance and a long service life. From our own production facility in Eibergen, we manufacture GRP / plastic gratings fully according to customer specifications.
We can respond flexibly to required dimensions, loads and applications, while guaranteeing short delivery times and consistently high quality. Thanks to our extensive experience and large production capacity, we are a reliable partner for both small custom solutions and large-scale projects.
This ensures perfectly fitting GRP gratings (plastic gratings) that are fully tailored to your specific application.
GRP gratings are used, among others, in:
- sewage and wastewater treatment plants (WWTP)
- civil engineering, water management and rail infrastructure
- petrochemical industry
- power plants
- chemical industry
- process water and drinking water companies
- food industry
- waste processing and incineration plants
- shipping and offshore
- agricultural sector
- marinas and jetties
This broad applicability makes GRP gratings a durable and safe solution for virtually any industrial environment.
