Load
The choice of grating depends on the span and the occurring load. The datasheets show this load based on evenly distributed load. We make a distinction between the following types of load:
- Evenly distributed load: a load where the length and width of the load surface have a significant size in relation to the structural member.
- A point load is a force or moment that acts on a specific point on the construction.
- Line load: a line load is a force or moment that acts on a specific length of a structural member. The extent of the load can vary over the length on which the line load acts.
